Climax Doll STPE Material
STPE, short for Soft-Tactile Polymer Elastomer, is Climax Doll’s upgraded TPE formulation.
It is still a TPE-family material, not a separate material category between TPE and silicone. Its purpose is to retain the soft, flexible feel of TPE while improving several of its common limitations.
What Does STPE Improve?
According to Climax Doll, STPE is designed to provide:
- Less surface oil seepage than conventional TPE
- Improved tear resistance in areas exposed to stretching and repeated movement
- Better shape recovery after temporary compression
- Lower material odor
- The same soft TPE-style feel that buyers expect from a TPE doll
These improvements make STPE easier to understand as refined TPE rather than a completely new material.

The key distinction is simple:
STPE improves the characteristics of TPE. It does not turn TPE into silicone.
If you prefer the softness and flexibility of TPE, STPE offers a more refined version of that material. If you prefer the surface characteristics and durability profile of silicone, silicone remains a different material choice.
Which Climax Dolls Use STPE?
STPE is available on selected Climax TPE dolls, torsos, and configurations.
Do not assume a doll uses STPE based only on its collection or series name. Check the material specification of the exact doll you are ordering. If STPE is not specifically listed, the doll should not automatically be treated as an STPE model.
Care
Because STPE is still TPE, normal TPE care principles still apply, including avoiding excessive heat, dye-transfer fabrics, prolonged pressure, and unnecessary stretching.
In short: STPE keeps the softness of Climax TPE while improving oil control, tear resistance, shape recovery, and odor.
